*CURRENT UPDATE** April 22, 2020
To: The Residents of the City of Cameron
Many thanks to our citizens for your patience while we continue to follow the “Stay at Home Missouri” Order by the Governor. The case numbers for Missouri and Clinton County are beginning to stabilize. However, we must continue to be diligent and remain at home and practice social distancing until we are in the clear. In my conference call with the Governor yesterday, he emphasized that we are all trying to open up soon and in this coming week he would be working to give us some specific information about certain businesses.
But for now, the City will continue to follow the guidelines set by the Clinton County Health Department. The “Stay at Home Missouri” Order still stands at least until May 3rd. We will continue to keep in touch with the Governor and the Clinton County Health Department and will update you should anything change.
As the weather warms up and people want to get outside to enjoy these nice days, they are looking for places to go and still safely maintain social distancing. Working with the Cameron Historical Society, we have come up with alternative locations and an opportunity to learn a little about Cameron’s history. One of the locations is Packard Cemetery. There are paved roadways to walk on, so please make sure you park on the paved roads and follow the attached Cemetery Etiquette guidelines.
Once again, thank you for your cooperation and please contact us at City Hall if you have any questions or concerns (816) 632-2177.
Darlene Breckenridge, Mayor
