Illinois COVID: More help is being given to families in Chicago

Families in Chicago who have been hurt by COVID are getting another round of help.
“2022 Chicago Resiliency 2.0” is being launched by the city of Chicago.

The goal of the direct cash assistance program is to help Chicagoans who may not have gotten help from COVID.
This program is especially for people who take care of adults or live in homes with adult children or other family members.

You can apply at if you claimed adult dependents on your 2019 tax return.
The last time to apply is at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 9.
