New Details Emerge in Cardi B Concert Microphone Incident, Police Report Reveals Misidentification
Cardi B, the Grammy-winning rapper known for her energetic performances, found herself at the center of a controversy during a recent concert in Las Vegas.
The incident occurred during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub on July 29, 2023, when a member of the audience threw a drink at her while she was on stage.
In response to the provocation, Cardi B reacted by hurling her microphone in the direction of the person responsible for the act.
While the microphone toss created a media frenzy, it also resulted in accusations of battery from a concertgoer who claimed to have been hit by the microphone.
Videos of the incident quickly circulated on social media, showing the moment the drink was thrown at Cardi B and her subsequent reaction of tossing her microphone.
The act left the audience in shock and drew mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.
However, the situation took a more serious turn when a woman reported to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that she had been struck by the microphone.
According to the police report obtained by Insider, the fan, who is 26 years old, alleged that she was not the person who threw the drink at the rapper.
She described another woman in her late 20s with reddish-colored hair as the one responsible for the act.
