Snap: 34 States Are Extending an Emergency Snap Benefit of $95 Per Person!

Several states are continuing to extend emergency food stamp benefits to some Americans as the month of April progresses further.

Due to the expiration of the public health emergency on Friday, April 15, any states that are currently providing emergency benefits will no longer be permitted to do so in May.

This month, 34 states intend to give monthly payments in addition to the emergency food stamps that were distributed last month.

The amount of money given to households varies depending on their existing benefit, however, all families will get a minimum of $95.

Similar to how ordinary benefits are added to EBT cards, benefits for EBT cards will be added as well.
