The governor has announced that utilities will get $300 in stimulus money in November and December.

On Wednesday, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres said that active residential electric accounts with Commonwealth Utilities Corporation will get a $300 utility stimulus credit for the months of November and December 2022.

“Through coordination with Department of Finance Secretary David DLG Atalig and CUC Executive Director Gary Camacho, we will give a $300 utility stimulus credit for the months of November and December to give our people in the CNMI much-needed help,” Governor Torres said.

“As the holidays approach, I hope that the utility credits will give you and your families a sense of relief so that you can focus on what’s most important: our families, friends, and loved ones,” he said.
